Voting Record / 2015 - 2016 Legislative Session

I either sponsored or co-sponsored approximately 70 bills during the 2015-16 legislative session. Among those bills was legislation to protect our 2nd Amendment rights, appropriate additional funds to small local education authorities, a requirement for a photo ID when voting, re-acquire the land around Oregon Inlet from the federal government, property insurance rate-making reform and terminate the tolls on all N.C. Ferries.

Most of the bills became law. However, I am continuing to examine the issues of the legislation that did not become into law and will consider reintroducing those bills.

Please go to the N.C. General Assembly Website for more information on my voting record.
